High five! Introducing Five Chefs Five Plates by Essa. A new experimental series set to takeover Wednesday evenings providing aspiring chefs, guest chefs and local producers with a platform to showcase fresh ideas and menu offerings.
Edition two on Wednesday 7 June will see Jaunade Elbrihi, former Chef of Quay Sydney and David Azner former Chef of Rosella Burleigh share their new venture, The Long Weekend and 2 Gather Lab with Head Chef Phil Marchant to showcase produce from their business. 2 Gather Lab forages and ferments native fruit, spices and ingredients whilst also assisting in rainforest regeneration and the propagation of endangered trees. The team will collaborate to present a Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern inspired menu with endemic ingredients.
