Staying up with In Design!

Staying up with In Design!

We're staying up again, and this time with Habitus magazine, to showcase all things design. Join us from 5pm on Thursday May 24, as we transform the street once more for the debut of Up Late In Design and experience a fusion of food and fashion, art and architecture. Habitus, seeks to engage the creative community by providing some inspiration for 'Design Hunters' - those who seek out good design in every facet of living. No doubt you are as passionate about design as we are, and there's more details to come, so check back soon!

we love our lamb

we love our lamb

Autumn is one of the best months to entertain. There's new produce trickling into the market, and the weather's cooling down enough to warrant a welcome to warmer dishes. We made link from the latest Gourmet Traveller. It was so good, we're sharing... Ask the boys at Prime to cut your Lamb shoulder into four for you.
marie claire... the wrap up

marie claire... the wrap up

Thanks to all of those who came, shopped and celebrated with us during the marie claire James Street Up Late event. There were in-store soirees, scrumptious street food and one very popular magazine editor Jackie Frank. Our Up Late venture with marie claire was one night not to be missed (nor were the insane incentives). We've uploaded the fun online in our gallery and you can also tag yourself via Facebook. Enjoy! Our next Up Late event will be with InDesign on Thursday May 24... Watch this space!
Long weekend escapes...

Long weekend escapes...

Heading on a long weekend escape? Take cue from our list of what to pack... Light-weight knits are perfect for the evening, especially if you're Byron-bound or beyond (we like camilla and marc at FrockShop or sass & bide). Ballet flats work well with dresses, shorts or jeans (check out Paige at Kisses) and don't take up much room in a suitcase. Tom Gunn's are super cute while Jules and Roc's animal printed numbers add a playful edge. Select your favourite pair of shades from the likes of One Point Seven Four and Optiko, oh and you're searching for a getaway bag, look no further than Patrizia Pepe now in at Kisses.
have you seen our blog?

have you seen our blog?

Our blog, 'the sidewalk' is not only the place for street snaps,  style tips + trends, inspirations + suggestions, delicious developments, nutritional notes, loves + lusts, and knick knacks, but also our office journal. There are new finds at the market, recipes we've tried, collections we can't wait to hit the street and an insight into what we're working away on...
where art thou willow?

where art thou willow?

Miranda Kerr loves them, women the world over love them, and now you too can fall in love with the 'willow sneakers' from Isabel Marant. You'd be hard pressed to find a fashion blog that doesn't feature a shot of some of the worlds most fashionable feet, without a pair on. They're selling out the world over, but if you hurry quick, you'll nab a pair at Calexico , before they walk out the door. Literally.

let's do brunch

Cru Bar has introduced brunch to their menu, providing a new and delicious opportunity for weekend morning indulgence. Brunch essentials such as avocado on sourdough toast and wholesome bircher muesli are just a couple of the many tempting menu offerings, to savour with friends and family.

This newest arrival at Endota, is an active treatment skincare range formulated to visibly improve skin appearance and texture. Glycolic acid, derived from sugar cane, is a natural fruit acid in the AHA family (Alpha Hydroxyl Acid) and its benefits will amaze you. Say goodbye to blackheads, acne scars, fine lines, pigmentation and dry spots!
goodness, gracious, great balls of peace

goodness, gracious, great balls of peace

There's a trend sweeping the street... it's called the Peace Ball. A ball of goodness featuring peanut butter, almonds, dates and agave syrup all rolled together and encrusted with sesame seeds. It's fast become the afternoon tea of choice for street locals + visitors in the know. You can join the phase at Press!
