Hunting down the Easter goods

Easter at our place

Did someone say four-day holiday? The Easter bunny sure did, and we are all about it – our resident culinary providores and kids stores are too. Sight some of the hip, hop, happenings below.

FreshFishCo
FreshFishCo has us feeling like it’s Good Friday every day of the year. If seafood is your jam (like butter is to toast) stop in on all four-days (public holidays included) to take the freshest catches back to your place. Moreton bay bugs, freshly shucked pacific oysters and whole snapper are at the top of our list.

Jocelyn’s Provisions
Jocelyn’s Provisions’ Easter menu is back! They manage to impress us each year with an array of even more delicious treats than the last. Get your hands on classic or filled Hot Cross Buns, sweet Shortbread Bunnies dipped in white chocolate, Easter Rocky Road with speckled eggs, Chocolate Pull Apart i.e. a giant custard filled Hot Cross Bun to share (or not!) and so much more. Take your pick but get in quick!

The Nut Market
Rumour has it The Nut Market is the Easter bunny’s favourite place and it’s not hard to see why. The one stop confectionary shop turns into a chocolate wonderland at this time of year – stop by for dark, milk and white chocolate in every shape and form. Hot tip: they’ve got your GF friends covered too!

Pottery Barn Kids
Hop by Pottery Barn Kids with your little ones on Easter Saturday for their pop-up Easter photos. While you are there why not browse the range of customised Easter baskets and cute as a button bunny themed décor.

The Standard Market Co
When you are in need of some fruit and vegetables after the inevitable chocolate overload followed by a sugar high, The Standard Market Co is the place to go. Open from Friday to Monday for all your fresh produce, pantry and deli needs.
