Meat: The Ultimate Companion meets Hellenika

Hellenika will welcome Anthony Puharich of, Victor Churchill, “The most beautiful butcher in the world” as coined by internationally acclaimed chef Anthony Boudain for the launch of his book Meat: The Ultimate Companion on Monday 10 December.

Puharich, a fifth-generation butcher, is not just any butcher. Co-owner of Victor Churchill in Sydney, Puharich shares the same ethos on produce and quality as Hellenika – never compromise. Because of this strong ethos, Puharich holds a unique position in the Australian food chain, linking the farmer to the chef and over the years has developed an in-depth understanding of the process.

Puharich’s book, Meat: The Ultimate Companion takes you through the topic of meat from the eyes of the farmer, butcher, and chef. There are tips on what questions to ask before you buy your meat, plus over 110 recipes showcasing what you can create – it’s a meaty read.
