Opa! Hellenika has arrived at The Calile, which means it’s time to pick your dining companions wisely because this restaurant is all about sharing food, and lots of it.

Widely regarded as one of the best Greek restaurants in the country, Hellenika at The Calile is the sister venue of the eponymous Gold Coast restaurant of the same name. Those who have dined at Hellenika on the Gold Coast will be very pleased to hear that the James St edition will serve up the same exceptional menu. Think Mezedes sharing plates of Kolokithia, zucchini chips (you’ve no doubt heard about these!), Paidakia grilled junee lamb cutlets to large plates of Souvlakia and Kritharaki orzo pasta with Fraser coast spanner crab. Plus with a 450 bottle wine list, that boasts an impressive Greek selection, dining at Hellenika is made to be shared and enjoyed with others.

Located on level one of The Calile aka the pool deck, diners can sit indoors, on the deck, around the pool and, after 5PM you can even dine in a cabana! The hotel’s architects, Richards & Spence are behind the immaculate design which compliments the clean and striking aesthetic of the hotel.

In a restaurant first, Hellenika at The Calile now serves up service from 6.30AM until 10.30AM sevens days a week. Enjoy classic classic Greek fare from bougasta to an Ari Onasis Big Breakfast with a lamb cutlet (yes, lamb cutlets for breakfast is a must).
