Salad aficionados Botanica are open and serving from their New Farm store. Perfect for those working from home or craving a nutritious meal.
Cantinho’s food and beverage menu is now available for takeaway. Customers can order family-sized quiches, slow-cooked lamb shoulder with lemon potatoes, Greek comfort food Pastitsio, Spanakopita and owner Michael’s Grandma’s house-made Galakoboureko desert to name just a few. Inspired by the street stalls of Asia and other exotic world destinations, Chow House has re-opened to serve a menu full of customers favourite dishes plus some new delights, takeaway and dine-in. Word from the kitchen is there are some exciting initiatives ahead, so watch this space.
To make things a little easier CRU Bar + Cellar, are now offering delivery for cellar orders. All orders can be placed via the phone, online or email and the team of CRU Bar + Cellar couriers will deliver to your door. Plus, if the order is over $100, delivery is complimentary!
Just in, picnics have been made better thanks to CRU Bar + Cellar and their James St neighbours Jocelyn’s Provisions. Celebrate the weekend, with a Spinach and Ricotta Tart and a Passionfruit Butter Cake accompanied by a bottle of bubbles from the cellar. Call CRU Bar + Cellar on 3252 2400 for the ultimate pairing.
For fresh fish from the fisherman, to Japanese cuisine, a visit to neighbouring stores, FreshSushiCo and FreshFishCo is a must. FreshFishCo can also vacuum pack produce for customers to freeze as they wish and offer a drop off service to cars in the James St Market car park.
From their Ada Lane shopfront, Gelato Messina are serving takeaway single, double, triple even tubs of their signature and rotating specials. Customers can even order delivery using the Deliveroo app.
Plus, in sweet treat news, Gelato Messina are welcoming back their GREATEST HITS – a selection for their top 40 specials. Pre-orders start Thursday 21 May and customers can order online, select a pick-up time, walk-in and grab the tub and go.
Gerard’s Bistro’s dinner menu is now available in the comfort of your home. For $40 per person, diners can enjoy a rotating set menu comprising of customers favourites. You can view the menu here or via Gerard’s Bistro and Head Chef Adam Wolfers Instagram accounts each morning. Pick-up or delivery is available within a 4km radius. Harveys Bar + Bistro is now serving a Harveys@Home takeaway menu. The dishes will be rotating, so follow their Instagram page for updates. Think the likes of, Harveys Haloumi Crumbed Chicken Snitzel or Slow Cooked Wagyu, Spiced Red Cabbage, Raclette Potato Gratin. Call 38523744 from 3PM to place your order – dishes available from 5 – 8PM for pick-up at sister venue Tinderbox Kitchen.
Plus, this bistro is welcoming patrons to dine in the venue in limited numbers. Breakfast and lunch will be available Friday to Sunday from 8AM – 3PM for walk-in customers only. Situated in the James St Markets alongside The Standard Market Company, the bakery is continuing to bake bread, pastries and lunch items fresh from their onsite kitchen.
Lovingly referred to as Jamies, this local coffee shop is pouring Seven Miles coffee for patrons to enjoy on the go Monday to Sunday between 6.30AM – 5PM.
Jocelyn’s Provisions take-home meal menu gives customers the option to enjoy quality food prepared in the Jocelyn’ kitchen in the comfort of their own home. The healthy meals range from Classic Beef Lasagne, Tomato and Bacon Pasta even Garlic, Fresh Herb and Parmesan Sourdough in a rotating weekly menu. Jocelyn’s Provisions have also been busy with their James St neighbour CRU Bar + Cellar on creating the ultimate picnic pairing. This weekend pair a Jocelyn’s Provisions tart and cake with a bottle of bubbles from the cellar. Call Jocelyn’s on 3852 3799 to order.
King Arthur Cafe are open Thursday to Saturday 7AM to 12.30PM serving their beloved takeaway breakfast, lunch, coffee and sweet dishes. Customers can also sit and enjoy their meal in the adjacent outdoor area. The cafe is also serving pre-packed meals, that customers can re-heat and re-create in their own kitchen – click here to order.
Private dining at Mosconi, now available from Wednesday 20 May to Friday 12 June. Diners can reserve the restaurant for up to 10 people from Wednesday to Saturday for dinner or Friday and Saturday for lunch. In the meantime, the chefs at Mosconi have been creating a breakfast, lunch and dinner home-style menu available as pre-made or cook at home meals. Think, Gnocchi with Prawns, Cauliflower and Taleggio Risotto even Family Gluten Free Lasange. In tasty news just in, QA Hotel has launched a takeaway menu. Available Wednesday to Saturday, diners can enjoy their iconic wood-fired pizzas, starters, salads, even some QA Classics, such as their QA Beef Burger and Chicken Schnitzel. For when you are on the go, Quench’s range of smoothies, sandwiches, wraps and gelatos are available for pick-up.
The restaurant has created a contact-free takeaway service. Available from dinner every day and lunch on Friday to Sunday. Plus, in news just in as of Saturday 13 June sAme sAme are taking reservations for parties of up to 20 people. Seating time are two and a half hours and guest will be dining off the $68 per head banquet. For more information and to reserve a spot, email the restaurant.
Spoon Deli Cafe customers as of Saturday 16 May can dine-in and enjoy their recently launched all-day breakfast, pizza and burger menu. To reserve a spot call the cafe on 3257 1750. To help keep your house nourished with non-perishable items, The Nut Market have custom created Lockdown Boxes. The family medium and large boxes support local growers and producers and feature a range of best-seller items. There are gluten-free and vegan-friendly options available and customers can create their own box too. For those unable to visit in-store, customers can place orders online and receive free Australia wide delivery.
From salads, salami’s to a vast selection of cheeses and dips, The Standard Market Company is a gourmet hub of fresh, rare and artisanal produce and delights for takeaway or ingredients to create something of your own.
The iconic Yiros Shop signatures will now be available for delivery from UberEats, Deliveroo, and The Yiros Shop app. First-time customers of The Yiros Shop app can use the discount code YIROSAPP to receive 15% off their first order.
Tinderbox Kitchen is open for customers to dine-in Tuesday to Saturday night from 5PM to 9PM in limited numbers. A minimum spend will apply for patrons and this opportunity is available to walk-in customers only.
