Something new (times five) on James Street!

The James Street community continues to grow and has recently welcomed three new shops, a beauty empire and an iconic cafe. Learn more about the latest additions below…

1. Mark Cotterell Master Jeweller – 65 James Street (near Sixes and Sevens)

Mark Cotterell Master Jeweller is a creative studio for one of the country’s premier jewellers, Mark Cotterell. With over 40 years in the jewellery industry and a multitude of awards and accolades to his name, it’s not surprising Cotterell’s designs have gained him a loyal following of clients.


2. St Agni – 9A / 23 James Street (near Aje)

St Agni is a contemporary fashion label founded in Byron Bay, influenced by a love of nostalgia, fine lines and nonchalance. Their vision is to create timeless pieces, ensuring less is more and deliver comfort, quality and honest design.


3. Alexa Nice Design and Interior – Shop 4, 27 James Street (near Endota)

Brisbane Designer and Creative Director, Alexa Nice has worked on an array of commercial projects in the hospitality and retail spheres across the country for 15 years. In her James Street showroom, Alexa Nice Design + Interiors, customers are spoiled with lifestyle and design products curated by Nice.


4. Brisbane Lashes – 65 James Street (near Sixes and Sevens)

Located in James Lane, Brisbane Lashes is an award-winning salon that offers an extensive menu of lash and make-up services plus, application training.


5. Jamie’s Espresso Bar – 65 James Street (next to Sheets on the Line).

Lovingly referred to as perfectly uncomplicated, Jamie’s Espresso Bar is a hole in the wall cafe. Formally situated on the corner of James and Roberton Street for over 20 years, the bar now attracts a devotee of followers old and new, who love the haunt for its relaxed laidback atmosphere, community sensibility and of course, coffee.
