Iconic Brisbane fashion boutique, Blonde Venus, has officially opened their doors on James Street.
Nestled in at it’s new position behind Libertine Parfumerie, Blonde Venus has been attracting visitors from around the globe since the stores inception in 1990. Since first opening it’s doors all that while ago, owner Thea Basiliou has created a cult following for her boutique.
Thea has become somewhat of a pioneer in the evolution of local fashion – a steady fashion compass in the ever-changing Brisbane fashion climate, constantly stocking brands that are new to Queensland, and often, Australia. In the two decades that Blonde Venus has been open, Thea has introduced brands such as Elizabeth Galton, Ann-Sofie Back, Chloe Sevigney for Opening Ceremony, Peter Pilotto, House of Holland, Mary Katrantzou, and Simone Rocha to Australian shores, thus bringing up Brisbane in the international fashion stakes.
Pop into the brand new boutique just off James Street, at 181 Roberston Street, Fortitude Valley, and sift through the racks of niche progressive women’s, men’s and unisex clothing and accessories.
