Since taking the helm of Gerard’s Bistro in April last year, Executive Chef Adam Wolfers has and continues to leave an impressive culinary mark on all who dine. Now, the time has come for Gerard’s Bar, to receive the royal Wolfers treatment.
Gerard’s Bar all-new menu was originally cited for March 2020, and Wolfers is excited to introduce regulars and new customers alike to the pared-back Middle Eastern-style grazing dishes as of Thursday 22 October.
“It was a bit of a blow to have to shut down the bar just after we had announced the relaunch, but the time has finally come to unveil what we have been working on. The closure of the bar and halt of the menu launch also gave us the opportunity to refine our dishes. We are thrilled to now share it with our community who have supported us throughout these past few months. The menu will feel more aligned with the Bistro and will be constantly changing” says Wolfers.
Traditional Middle Eastern flavours and dishes are accentuated by seasonal produce through a menu largely cooked in a custom-built wood-fired oven. From a selection of mezze like Wood Fired Harissa Yogurt, Wagyu Basturma, and Labne and Mount Zero Olive Oil to more substantial options like Wood Fired Flat Bread.
The menu comes best paired with a beverage or two, it is Gerard’s Bar after all.
