Hello Epicurean Enthusiasts, in line with the Queensland Government’s recent announcement for a three-day lockdown starting Saturday 31 July at 4PM, Market Day on Sunday 1 August has been put on hold. Many of our retailers however are busy transitioning to ensure that all their wonderful fresh produce and meals are still available in the form of take-away!
With two of our off-trail events already complete, the trail was off to a flying and delicious start, but now in light of, and in keeping with the recent announcements, the last two events, Market Day – our street-wide urban picnic designed to feature the work of our resident chefs and kitchen teams, and the Harveys’ Louis Roederer Lunch will be postponed.
Many of our resident chefs and kitchen teams, all who were busy dicing, slicing and prepping their dishes, when the recent announcement came through, are rallying, and pivoting to prepare special meals to be enjoyed at home – and we are rallying our appetite to help.
