The Sunday Roast has been replaced

Lunching for Dad

Are you thinking of cooking, baking or bbq-ing “the usual” for Dad this Father’s Day on Sunday 3 September? Think again. Biànca, The Green and sAme sAme are all serving up multi-course shared menus that will put that crunchy noodle salad, cheesecake or steaks in your repertoire to shame… Check the details below.

Lunch at Biànca

Details: if a ticket to Italy is out of the question a reservation at Biànca is the next best thing. This trattoria will be serving up a set menu and house spritz or beer on arrival – all you need to do is make the booking and rock up – they’ve got the rest covered.

Price: $120

Lunch at Essa

Details: if there’s anyone who knows how to bring back nostalgic favourites and make them better it’s Essa. For their Sunday School Father’s Day edition Essa is hosting a set menu with all of dad’s  favourites (but better). Think XXXX, duck sangas, wagyu rump cap with chips and truffle butter sauce and chilli clam linguine all topped off with Co-Owner and Head Chef Phil Marchant’s cherished family chocolate torte with brandy cream.

Price: $118

Lunch at The Green

Details: a feast for a king and a Dad – The Green will be dishing out a modern Middle Eastern feast (pictured) in their lush garden surrounds. Did we mention a complementary Felons beer for the big guy? That’s a win.

Price: $75

Lunch at sAme sAme

Details: Thai food but make it thai-riffic! A sAme sAme banquet is a crowed pleaser and the addition of a house spritz or beer served on arrival almost guarantees happy Dad status. Lame dad jokes not included.

Price: $120

If all else fails a James St Gift Card is the ideal “I owe you” and can be purchased here.
