Fact: a brilliant breakfast is the best way to start any weekend and James Street Food & Wine Trail is no exception! Trail Day will pay homage to delightful breakfasts compliments of Gerard’s Bistro and Spoon Cafe…
Breakfast at Gerard’s Bistro is back!
The breakfast stopped, but the cravings didn’t! If you’ve been longing for breakfast at Gerard’s Bistro then #JSFWT is your chance to enjoy it once again (on both Trail Day and Market Day)! Bookings are highly recommended, secure a table here.
The Weekend Edition Pop-Up Brunch
There’s more! Gerard’s Bistro will transform their new private dining room in collaboration with The Weekend Edition and west elm. Head Chef Ben Williamson of Gerard’s Bistro will treat guests to dishes never before served at the restaurant – book a seat for the stylish feast here.
Spoon Cafe Brunch
Kick-start Trail Day with an all-inclusive breakfast at Spoon Cafe – this market favourite will be offering a brunch set menu, which includes a dessert tasting platter (sign-us-up!). Check out the full menu here.

James Street Food & Wine Trail loves a good collaboration, and Trail Day will see a number of special in-venue events take place.
MINI Tailgate Party
“Yeah, it’s a party in the USA” (kind of). Brisbane MINI Garage will team up with Pineapple Express, Sheets on the Line and Bang & Olufsen for a #JSFWT Tailgate Party this Saturday at Pineapple Express! Did someone say free coffee and sweet tunes? Brisbane MINI Garage will swing open their tailgates from 8AM to 11AM – get the low-down here.
Wine Meats Cheese
Wine Meats Cheese returns to Gerard’s Bar for #JSFWT with a Weird, Wonderful and Obscure twist. Join Gerard’s Bar from 12PM till 2PM for an afternoon of tastings from their local and national providers, served with a sweet side of Bee One Third Honey. Find out more here.
Bee One Third Honey Jumble Sour
Harveys Bar + Bistro will be dishing-up a custom cocktail all #JSFWT weekend long. The Bee One Third Honey Jumble Sour is (as the name suggests) a collaborative drink with Bee One Third featuring James Street honey and honeycomb, rum, ginger liqueur, frothy egg whites, raspberries and fresh citrus… Cheers!
Vacation Series
Transport your palette to Lombardia with a visit to Bucci. Taking James Street Food & Wine Trail international with their Vacation Series lunch menu available on Trail Day and Market Day – view the delicious menu here
