James St Weekly | Friday 3 April

Dear James St readers, another week has passed and in this ever-changing time, we vow to keep you informed and up to date with all the latest – as a community, we are responding to this as best as we know-how, together.

Gourmet Takeaway  The local heroes behind our food scene are embracing change in a conveniently delicious manner. Restaurants like Gerard’s Bistro, Mosconi and sAme sAme are offering quality takeaway both pre-made and DIY, whilst cafés and providores extend their offerings to cater for all. Pick-up, concierge and delivery options are available. Bon appétit!

If You’re in the Area — Many of the businesses on James St are owner (and creator) operated. For a number of our dedicated retailers, their shop is their second home, and they warmly welcome you to visit – by appointment with considered distancing measures in place. Visit them.

From Us to You — From wherever you may be, James St is just a click away. Let www.jamesst.com.au be your chaperon to the street with features, profiles and all the latest offerings from stores including those that have temporarily closed. Just because the doors are shut, doesn’t mean business has stopped – our crafty community has developed other ways to stay connected with you – see how.

Think of Them, Not Us  — To instantly support James St retailers, we encourage you to purchase a gift card directly from the business you, or the gift recipient would prefer. The James St Gift Card is currently not available for purchase however, those who already hold a James St Gift Card can use it within participating stores which remain open.

We hope that you and those closest to you remain safe, happy and healthy. We look forward to reconnecting with you next week. In the meantime, please tune in to our Instagram and Facebook for regular community updates.
