It’s International Negroni Week, and Gerard’s Bar are getting on board and cheers’ing to a worthy cause!
The legend goes that in Firenze in the early 1900s, Count Camillo Negroni wanted something that would be a little more hairs on his chest, and his Americano wasn’t quite doing the trick. He told his bartender to swap the usual soda water out with gin, and with a twist of orange rind, badabing badaboom – the negroni came to be.
You can now officially drink with a conscience with $2 from every Negroni purchased being donated. Join Gerard’s Bar in celebrating this iconic cocktail from the 1st to the 7th of June in an effort to raise funds for a charity of their choice, Mater Little Miracles.
