If you thought the James St dining scene couldn’t get any better than hold on to your hat – or sombrero in this case – because a spicy new edition is set to open next week!

Located at 70 James St (beneath Sage Hotel) Carmen is set to bring a whole lot of spice and all things nice (and Mexican!) to our district. Promising a large selection of small batch artisanal mezcals along with hand-crafted signature cocktails, Carmen will put the tequila in Tequileria. Need a snack with that? Expect a refined Mexican menu filled with the fresh seafood – cue poached lobster tacos, kingfish ceviche and Sydney rock oysters – and favourites like guacamole and charred corn riblets.
