Take a trip to your local Gorman Museum to view their latest Autumn 2016 collection ‘geology’. The ever talented Lisa Gorman has drawn inspiration from the Science Museum of Melbourne and it’s taking us straight back to junior science days!
Earthy formations, satellite maps, gems and new textures make their way across classic Gorman garment shapes. The gem artworks found in the designs are inspired by mid-century scientific drawings. Colours used in education posters and reference books have conceptualised the colours for the season and the campaign itself was photographed in the Geoscience achieve of the Museum (where all the behind the scenes activity takes place).
The collaboration is a reminder for people to visit Museums, to learn and discover the extraordinary natural world in which we live – there isn’t a better way to promote this message buy wearing it… Right?!
But wait there’s more!
