The team behind Gerard’s Bistro have just swung open the doors to their newest project – Gerard’s Bar – a specialised charcuterie bar neatly tucked away behind Gerard’s Bistro, hidden away from all the hustle and bustle of the street.
With a decor that transcends eras, the bar encourages you to forget time and escape while indulging on delicious artisan meats, house made salumis and a selection of vegetarian and vegan charcuterie, all of which are sliced up in front of you.
Watch on as the bartenders and chefs dance around one another as they all work off one long wooden bench top, preparing specialised cocktails and delicious fare, including cheeseburgers cooked via blowtorch, creating a theatrical experience for all those involved.
Never one to restrict himself or his guests, award-winning head chef Ben Williamson has created a bar menu which also includes vegan and vegetarian charcuterie which is prepared through fermenting and baking vegetables.
Gerard’s Bar is now open 7 days a week, operating from 2PM until late.
