Designer Rugs

Where: 154 Arthur Street

When: Opened Late September

With over thirty years in the industry, Designer Rugs are home to a leading collection of rugs by Australian artists and designers. From ready-made rug collaborations with James St designers like CAMILLA, Dinosaur Designs and Akira to name a few, Designer Rugs has also rightly earned a reputation for producing custom made rugs for homes and commercial spaces.




Where: 50 James Street

When: Opened Late September

From their world-leading research laboratory at RATIONALE HQ in Melbourne, RATIONALE has created their own essential formulas designed to deliver luminous skin for life. In-store customers can browse their range, plus truly experience the products with an array of facials in one of their four treatments rooms.


Scotch & Soda

Where: The Calile Hotel, 48 James Street

When: Opened Early October

Amsterdam has arrived on James St in the form of Scotch & Soda. Found next door to CAMILLA AND MARC and Wolfe & Ordnance, the women and menswear store, are champions of electric, modern and playful dressing.



Where: 10 James Street

When: Opening Early October

Overlooking the intersection of McLachlan and James St (previously David Jones), Place truly takes pride of place (pun intended). The building houses three different offices; Place New Farm, Place Professional Services and Place Projects.
