Edition Three | James St

A chaperon to the discovery of James St, the James St Guide Book Edition Three has hit the street (James St, of course).

Featuring, a carefully curated summary of the boutiques, dining destinations, eateries and laneways of James St, the guide, is created for locals and visitors alike.

Divided into six categories including New Stories; Stay; Fashion; Food + Drink; Lifestyle + Design and Health + Beauty, the guide is editorial in style. Every store sits alongside original imagery by David Chatfield which invites you to view James St with a fresh perspective. A map and key for each category allow for easy navigation and exploration of the precinct.

Inside you will also find three insightful conversations with friends and collaborators of James St; architects Ingrid Richards and Adrian Spence of Richards and Spence;  fashion design, lecturer and former co-owner of Easton Pearson Lydia Pearson and artist, architectural illustrator and long term local Jane Grealy. Each conversation explores their work, involvement in the neighbourhood and what makes the community unique.

You are invited to curate your visit and linger in the unique spaces that contribute to the energy of the subtropical oasis of James St. The James St Guide Book Edition Three is complimentary and can be collected from your favourite James St retailers or viewed online here.

The guide has been produced by James Street Initiative in collaboration with Margie Fraser, Oh Babushka and David Chatfield Studio.
