Back Baking: Jocelyn’s Provisions

You never know how much you love something until you cannot have it. When Jocelyn’s Provisions closed over two-months ago to rebuild their off-site kitchen this became ever so apparent.

Months without their iconic sourdough, impulse cupcake purchases, the chocolate sour cream cake – a birthday favourite – hearty pies, and provisions to elevate at home dining, we have be deprived of Jocelyn’s Provisions goodness for far too long.

The wait however, is finally over, with the bakery reopening on Thursday 16 June – rejoice!

Owner Caitlin Gallagher said, “We’ve missed the daily interactions with our loyal customers and our retail staff are looking forward to welcoming everyone back with some great new products and the triumphant return of so many old favourites.”

New creations include brûléed bombolini filled with housemate creams, chocolate and tangy caramel, chocolate dipped cannoli, banoffee and tiramisu cake, Paris-brest, and traditional babka to name just a few.

Jocelyn’s Provisions will reopen in the same Ada Lane location and will return to normal trade seven days a week.
