Calexico’s first campaign for 2017 is here. Photographed by Brisbane-based Elizabeth Willis and styled by director Nicky Charman, the campaign reflects Calexico’s refined and effortless style, and features exclusive and current Autumn/Winter pieces from some of the world’s most sought-after fashion houses.
This year, Calexico chose German-born international model and influencer Cisco Tschurtschenthaler to resonate the ‘Calexico Girl’ in the campaign. Tschurtschenthaler has been an ongoing muse at Calexico, and her personal style, passion for music and international influence is one that resonates perfectly with the Calexico brand.
The campaign was photographed at the home of a Calexico client and close friend to director Nicky Charman, which was a significant element to continue from past campaigns. The incorporation of client’s homes is a subtle nod to reflect the importance of Calexico’s clients, as well as Nicky’s own gratitude for all the support she has received since launching Calexico in 2010.
The spread features current pieces from some of the boutiques newest and oldest labels. From renowned designers such as Isabel Marant, Acne Studios and Helmut Lang, to newer labels such as Jonathan Simkhai, IRO and Avant Toi, each label and collection has been handpicked for the boutique for its exclusivity and impeccable design.
The campaign is now available as a magazine style booklet, and allows women to shop classic Calexico looks that have been styled to be worn no matter where you are in the world – head in-store to collect one for yourself!
