For the first time, Melbourne Food and Wine Festival will appear at the James St Food & Wine Trail for a one-off collaboration between chef Daniel Wilson (Huxtable & Huxtaburger, Melbourne), and Chef PJ McMillan of Harveys and Tinderbox.
The dinner serves as a unique chance for Queenslanders to get their very own taste of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival and fresh Victorian produce. Daniel and PJ’s modern Australian approach will be drawn together for a five-course-menu that is sure to tantalise even the most discerning of tastebuds.
A few dish highlights include Tataki of Sher Wagyu beef and grilled Otway shitake, black garlic ponzu, daikon cress, and crisp Marionvale Blue Murray cod served on a cocunut, pomelo and peanut salad, with chilli and palm sugar dressing.
Of course, there will be plenty to wet the whistle with as well, with a serving of matched wines to perfectly complement the menu.
E-mail info@harveys.net.au to secure your spot and get ready to enjoy a unique chance to enjoy a never-to-be-repeated dinner that will surely be one of the most talked about gastronomic encounters of the James St Food & Wine Trail.
