CRU Bar + Cellar, the iconic corner bar overlooking James St, is loved for its vast and award-winning wine list and cellar, so naturally, it’s onto a winning streak when a Melbourne Cup celebration is added to the mix.

Celebrate Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday 3 November from 11AM to 3PM at CRU Bar. The new and ever-talented Executive Head Chef, Richard Ousby formerly of Stokehouse Q, Quay and London’s Michelin-starred Waterside Inn has created a four-course menu for guests to savour.

Guests will also enjoy Veuve Clicquot on arrival, the races played on screens throughout the restaurant and cellar, best-dressed awards and sweepstakes available on the day.
