If you aren’t familiar with a himmeli, you soon will be! They are the latest nordic home accessory currently trending on interior design blogs around the world. Basically, they are geometric mobiles that originated in Finland and were designed to be hung around the home and on the tree at Christmas time. Now days, they are frequently seen throughout the entire year and act as a pretty addition to the home.

In this very special workshop at West Elm, you will learn the traditional method of himmeli making with wheat and string. You will learn how to make different shapes and will skip away with a beautiful himmeli mobile to hang at home. You will also leave with supplies so you can continue to create more mobile magic at home. Their will also be refreshments to keep your mind and body in zen mode!
